Let's be honest, any tribute act for the Oasis lads is always going to be a bit of a mixed bag. But this lot — Oasish — seem to have nailed the reckless charm and sheer rock'n'roll swagger of the Burnage brothers. Expect towering guitar riffs, sneering vocals, and more parka antics than you can shake a broken tambourine at. The venue's not bad either — Thornbridge Brewery in Bakewell is a proper old-school rock'n'roll setting, all exposed brick and raucous atmosphere. Easy to get to from the nearest train station, and at a tenner a ticket, it's a bit of a steal. If you're an Oasis diehard looking to scratch that Britpop itch, or just fancy an evening of unapologetically laddish mayhem, get yourself down to Bakewell, me old mucker.
