Miles Hunt may not be a household name these days, but the spiky-haired, motor-mouthed singer-songwriter still packs a punch. As the volatile voice behind cult 90s favourites The Wonder Stuff, he whipped up a storm of brittle guitar riffs, sarcastic lyrics, and frenetic energy. Now flying solo, Hunt is bringing that same raw, punk-inflected sensibility to the plush surroundings of the Tung Auditorium in Liverpool. With its gleaming hardwood floors and state-of-the-art sound system, the venue should provide the perfect canvas for Hunt's gritty, high-octane tunes.
