ABOUT THIS EVENT
Maet Live & The Never Neverland Express channel the riffs, the swagger and the pure mosh-pit mayhem of rock's golden era at Yorkshire's Picturedrome.
If you ever wondered what it would be like to witness the second coming of Oasis, Blur and The Stone Roses, then make your way to the Picturedrome in Holmfirth this April. Maet Live & The Never Neverland Express are a Yorkshire-born tribute act who have perfected the laddish charm, towering guitar hooks and anthemic choruses that defined Britpop's halcyon days. Fronted by a singer who could be Liam Gallagher's long-lost younger brother, their set will have you singing, swaying and, yes, almost certainly necking a few too many pints of Yorkshire bitter. Located just a short walk from Holmfirth station, the Picturedrome is a classic old-school rock venue with a sticky dancefloor, a sticky-floored bar, and an atmosphere you can almost taste. Tickets are a very reasonable £25, so grab 'em before the Madchester masses descend.
