Gloss In The Garden At Plouise are bringing their swirling, ethereal sound to the P Louise Make Up Academy in Stockport this April. Frontwoman Pixie Noir and her bandmates craft a glorious racket that's one part early Cocteau Twins, one part John Carpenter synth-scapes, all wrapped up in layers of shimmering, translucent guitars. The P Louise space is an intimate, industrial-chic studio that'll give the band's atmospheric tunes plenty of room to breathe - though we reckon the crowd will be up close and personal, poring over every aural flourish. Tickets are a very reasonable £20, and it's just a 20 minute walk from Davenport station, so there's no excuse not to get your goth on, chums.
