Leave your skinny jeans at home, mucker — this is a proper rock n' roll marathon. Firevolt Fest is the sort of no-frills, get-down-and-dirty music marathon that'll have you gasping for breath and begging for more. From the moment the first distorted riff blasts out across the fields of Whitebottom Farm, you'll be lost in a haze of flannel and Marshall stacks. This place has seen its fair share of raucous gigs over the years, and it'll be giving it socks again as hordes of leather-clad headbangers descend for three days of music mayhem. Tickets start at a very reasonable £15, so you can go absolutely feral in the mosh pit without blowing the rent money. Just jump on the train to Stockport and prepare for the sweatiest, sweatiest, sweatiest time of your life.
